Lifeless, soulless, heartlesss
Phlegethon calls your name

In the shroud, far beyond night,
The mystics dwell, wary of life.
Wary of flesh, veiled in white,
Dawn lay in shadows, an endless twilight.

Devoid of life, devoid of pain,
Torrent of rain, lovers of shame.
Without a hope, misery chokes
Our hold on earth: shadows’ rebirth.

The frothy dusk awaits those who call
Her name to the night, her name to the sky
Among the few who braved the water’s might.
I call your name

Through darkened lands and perilous sands,
The river calls, it calls my name.
Potent longing draws me closer to the dusk
Of the great spring.


In this dank, loveless pit,
The heavens fall, upon stars I sit.
Imbedded in earth, limbs cannot shift,
Sealed in this tomb, these scrolls have been writ.

In the depths, voices not heard,
Scream out in anguish, misshapen words.
Longing for water, an undying thirst,
Look not to the river, for it is a hearse.

You leapt into the sea longing to dream.
Swallowed into these murky crimson depths.
You now long only for the dark confines of the earth.
